The research work developed by SIMUMECAMAT in the past 5 years is oriented primarily, but not exclusively, on the following fields:

Novel research advances developed by SIMUMECAMAT members are usually disseminated in scientific papers in peer reviewed international journals (SCI/JCR) or specialized conferences.
To date, over 136 scientific articles have been published and more than 254 communications have been presented at conferences worldwide.
R&D Projects
Throughout its 20 year history, the research group SIMUMECAT has participated in over 110 research projects funded by companies or public agencies.
SIMUMECAMAT research facilities are located in the Gijón Polytechnic School of Engineering and include extensive laboratory equipment and a variety of computational hardware.
